Tunes of Tamil FAQ
Does Tunes of Tamil use mobile data?
Yes. Stations stream over the internet, so carrier data charges may apply. Use Wi-Fi for the most stable playback.
Can I listen with the screen off or in another app?
Yes. Background play keeps the station running until it's interrupted, and you can control it from the notification or the lock screen.
Why does a station take a few seconds to start?
Each station streams live from its own server, so start-up time depends on your connection and the station.
What happens if a station stops playing?
Tunes of Tamil shows "Reconnecting…" and tries again on its own. Some stations also have backup streams it can switch to.
